Last night I watched the 2011 Academy Award-Nominated Animated Short Films at the IFC Center. One of my favorite films was The Cow Who Wanted To Be A Hamburger by Bill Plympton, which is actually not nominated, but was "Highly Commended." The full version is not available to watch online, but above is a small taste of the six minute flick. It is pretty funny and disturbing at the same time. The IFC Center is playing the shorts today and tomorrow, so you still have a chance to watch it.
