Banana-Blueberry Sorbet

This Banana-Blueberry Sorbet from The Perfect Scoop is a piece of cake.  Throw everything into a blender, chill, put in ice cream maker, and your done.  Sweet and refreshing, perfect for a hot afternoon.

Ingredients for Banana-Blueberry Sorbet from The Perfect Scoop, make about 1 quart:

-1 medium-sized banana, peeled (mine was black, so really sweet and smooth)
-2 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen
-3/4 cup water
-1/2 cup granulated sugar
-1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice, freshly squeezed

Cut banana into chunks, and place in food processor or blender with the blueberries, water, sugar, and lemon or lime juice until smooth and few discernible bits of blueberry remain.
Chill thoroughly.  I chilled mine overnight, and the mixture kind of gelatinized, so I just whipped it in the blender again before I put it in the ice cream maker.  Place in your ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.  Enjoy!
